TimeCall

Travel to the Future? Almost. . . with TimeCall

About TimeCall:

Right now, November 21, 2023, I'm 71 years old - retired and on a pension.  It's too cold out to ride my eBike. . . so why not produce a cell phone application - right?

There's only a couple of problems:

I'm looking into "Crowd Funding" to cover the cost of producing this application.

Essential Designs is currently looking into the feasibility and cost of producing TimeCall for me (They have told me: "The idea itself sounds great and like something people would use!).

UPDATE November 25, 2023: Unfortunately, Essential Designs advised me that producing the TimeCall application is not possible. . . just how I wish. A "work-around" is possible using Twilio. But this would not be very good at all - as the phone number displayed on an incoming TimeCall would not be the User's. The cost of production would be: $50,000.00 CAN. My project is shelved for now.

TIME CALL

Proposed Smart Phone Application

Scheduled Voice Memo Sent as a “Phone Call” to a future date.

  How it would Work

User records a Time Call voice memo on their Smart Phone

When the memo is completed, these options appear:

·    Play Memo

·    Save Memo

·    Delete

·    Send Time Call

If Time Call is selected, these new options appear:

·    Send to yourself.

·    Sent to Contacts (Opens Contacts to select number).

·    Enter any phone number.

Once the phone number is entered, the user can select a date and time that the Time Call is sent.

The voice memo acts just like a phone call. For example:

On Feb 23rd, I record a voice memo telling myself that I have a Doctor's appointment on Feb. 28th at 4:00 p.m.

I set the "Time Call" for Feb 28th at 2:00 p.m.

On Feb 28th at 2:00 p.m. my phone rings and then I answer it and listen to the scheduled voice mail – The Time Call – reminding me to go to the Doctor.

I can then save, delete or re-schedule the Time Call.
